My car central locking is not working. I can only get into the car by using the manual key in the drivers door. All other doors are locked. I’ve replaced the battery in my key fob and tried a mobile locksmith and it’s not that so I think it must be a central locking system/electrical fault.

Drivers door will not open from outside with fob or key will not open it.. it will open from inside. It has been fixed once before from people i bought it off last year some latch had snapped the guy who fixed it said they had sent for the cheapest of parts

Central locking doesn’t work as should some doors on car won’t open

My VW POLO does not have a central locking system, the car has to be unlocked by putting the key inside the door. Also, this means my car key does not have buttons. To me, this is really important as all of my previous cars have had an electronic key and i thought i could see past it upon purchasing the vehicle, but it is becoming annoying.
