Help is needed to repair a Rationel balcony door handle which is wobbly although the mechanism gets stuck inside. The handle connects to an espagnolette door system. Please see video (https://photos.app.goo.gl/v4NzhLeNhnhtqT1V7). I don't know if I need to order a new handle or more parts. I am looking for someone with experience and expertise repairing this kind of handle/system. Flexible to a degree as to price. Edited to add photos of the door and handle from both sides, but the video shows the issue with wobbliness and sticking.

Hi, I’m looking for help with a driveway gate near DA2 A long metal strip/edge trim has come away from the side of the gate. The gate has electric automation, and since this happened the gate appears to be opening/closing incorrectly, so we have stopped using the automation for now. I’ve attached two photos showing the issue. I need a skilled carpenter to repair a damaged timber door frame and hang a new solid oak fire door. The door is heavy (42kg), so I am looking for someone with the appropriate tools and experience. Scope of Work: 1. Remove and dispose of old door 2. Structural Frame Repair: The current timber jamb is badly splintered at the strike points as a result of a locksmith needing to use force to break in (see photos). Needs a professional repair so the frame is structurally sound again. 3. Door Hanging: Hang a new Victorian 4-Panel Oak FD30 Fire Door (1981mm x 838mm x 44mm). Trim as needed - the floor is uneven and will need some trimming, and likely a timber threshold strip fitted to manage the gap on the high side. The door has 20mm solid oak lippings to accommodate this. 4. Hardware Installation: - Install 3x Grade 13 hinges - Consolidate Locks: Remove three existing locks from the old setup. Re-install only ONE insurance-approved ERA BS3621 5-Lever Sashlock and its matching strike plate (pictured) into the repaired frame. - Install new lever handles (57mm centers). 5. Finishing: Ensure the 44mm door sits flush in the 46mm frame rebate. Patch/fill the old lock holes in the frame so it is ready for sanding/painting. Materials Provided: - Solid Oak Fire Door (42kg) - 1981mm X 838mm X 44mm - 3x Grade 13 Ball Bearing Hinges - Heritage Brass Lever Handles. - Existing ERA BS3621 Sashlock & Strike Plate (pictured) Tasker Requirements: - Must provide own professional tools - Must provide timber, professional wood glue etc for the frame repair. - Experience with heavy solid-core doors Photos: Please see attached for the current frame damage and the hardware being reused.
