Looking for a skilled painter/decorator to paint the walls in one room. The actual paintable surface area is very small (approx 17.5m² total) because of a built-in wardrobe and a large bay window. The Job: Total Paintable Area: 17.5m² (Wall 1: 2.5m wide / Wall 2: 0.5m wide / Wall 3: 1m wide / Wall 4: 3m wide. Ceilings are 2.5m high). The Colour: Going from stark white walls to Farrow & Ball 'Railings' (a very dark blue/black). Scope: Walls only. No ceilings or woodwork. What I Provide: I already have the Farrow & Ball Primer and the F&B Topcoat on site ready to go. Requirements (Please read before bidding): Cutting In: Because we are putting a very dark colour next to white ceilings and skirting boards, you must have excellent, steady cutting-in skills. Any wobbly lines will show up immediately. Drying Times: The job requires one coat of primer and two topcoats. Please let me know in your bid how you plan to manage the drying times (e.g., whether you plan to spread this over two consecutive days). Looking for an experienced painter/decorator. Bathroom ceiling: Paint is flaking and peeling in a section of the ceiling. The area needs scraping back, likely some light filler work, before repainting the ceiling. Paint provided. Rear bedroom: Cracking and flaking paint in the corner on the exterior wall, particularly at the corners and around the window. Walls will need scraping, filling cracks, sanding, and repainting. Both rooms are in need of proper prep work before painting – this isn't a quick coat-over job. Looking for someone who takes pride in doing it right.
