Hi, I’m looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter (ideally with plastering experience) to complete several jobs in my flat in Crystal Palace. 1. Ceiling repair (water damage – priority) Ceiling has previous water damage and cracking (see photo) Leak has already been addressed Needs: –Crack repair –Any loose/blown plaster removed and made good –Surface smoothed and sealed (stain-block if needed) –Must be properly prepped before painting 2. Ceiling trim box (feature wall) Build and install 10cm x 10cm box section (MDF or similar) Fixed to ceiling above acoustic slat wall Purpose: –Hide ceiling imperfections –Create clean architectural finish –Needs to align with side trims and be paint-ready 3. Adjust hidden panel / boiler cupboard door Slatted panel door needs: ~10cm cut from top –Re-fixed to frame –Still open cleanly under new trim –Must remain visually seamless with wall 4.
