I have a (3D scanner) with a damaged PCB (motherboard). The USB connector and data lines (D+, D–, VCC, GND) were manually soldered after damage, but the scanner is no longer recognized by the computer. What I need: * An experienced electronics technician to check and repair the PCB. * Test USB wiring and ensure correct connections. * Verify power supply (+5V / GND) and data lines with a multimeter. * Diagnose if the Cypress CY7C656 USB controller IC or other components are faulty. * Repair or re-solder broken PCB traces if needed. Skills required: * PCB repair & fine soldering * USB electronics knowledge * Ability to test with multimeter (oscilloscope is a plus)

I'm a small business owner needing one-off advice from a software developer consultant who can help me plan out a software system for tracking jobs and their progress through our manufacturing plant. We want the system to: • Use barcode scanning to track the movement of each job • Upload lots of photos to each job within the software • Be able to link or integrate with our suppliers' systems to pull data and add it across to our software platform where the customer can see and where its all recorded for compliance. • Generate invoices and provide financial information this should talk with Xero and push information across to xero our book keeping software as well. • Be built cost-effectively (we're on a budget) advise best place to find most cost effective software developers. I’m not technical—so I’m looking for someone who can explain things simply, guide me in the right direction, and help me figure out what kind of developer I need to build it. What I Need: • A video or phone call (probably around 1 hour) • Your advice on how the system should work • Help writing a brief that I can give to a developer • Recommendations on where to find a good (and affordable) developers • Ideas on keeping development costs low Ideal Tasker: • Can oversee the project if I decide to go down that route • Has experience working with non-technical people • Understands barcode tracking or job management systems • Can recommend affordable software or developers • Speaks clearly and doesn’t use confusing tech jargon Budget: This is a once-off job for advice only, so please send your quote for the consultation.
