Scope of Works – Offline Camera (SD Card Only) Objective Configure the existing device to operate as a stand-alone offline camera that captures still images and saves them directly to the SD card, with no cellular or network connectivity required. Scope Cellular Module Disablement Disable or remove the existing 3G cellular module (Quectel UG95). Remove SIM card (if present). Ensure the device boots normally with no network dependency, errors, or retry loops. Cellular functionality is not required. Camera Functionality Configure the camera to capture still images in offline mode. Confirm the capture trigger method used (e.g. power-on, button, timer, or sensor if available). Camera operation must not depend on network availability. SD Card Storage Configure the device to save all captured images directly to the SD card. Use a stable, PC-readable file system (preferably FAT32). Images must be stored with unique filenames and, where possible, date/time stamps. SD card must be removable and readable on a standard computer. Firmware / Software Configuration Remove or bypass any firmware logic that requires cellular connection to enable capture. Disable cellular error handling that may affect stability or power consumption. Ensure device boots directly into offline capture mode. Power & Stability Confirm stable operation on battery power in offline mode. No unexpected resets during image capture or SD write operations. Testing & Acceptance Device boots with no SIM and no antenna connected. Camera captures and stores at least 10 consecutive images to the SD card without error. SD card data is readable on a PC.

After changing my ISP modem and network credentials, my Hikvision security system is only partially back online. The PoE CCTV camera is working, but the doorbell (DS-KV6113-WPE1) lost its credentials and is offline. I’m looking for someone familiar with Hikvision / HiLook systems who can re-bind the door station to the NVR. Doorbell: Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1 NVR: HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P NVR is connected to the new modem Monitor and USB mouse are connected to the NVR Current network confirmed NVR credentials available Doorbell credentials unknown This appears to be a credential re-sync / re-registration issue, not a cabling or hardware fault. I’m open to a remote session if possible, or a quick local visit (Tewantin) at a reasonable rate. Please only respond if you have hands-on experience with Hikvision/HiLook PoE systems, static IPs and device authentication.
