I’m looking to have a children’s picture book written and illustrated, around 10–20 pages long, telling the story of my daughter who had her eye removed due to cancer. The story should be age-appropriate, warm, and empowering — with a message that her one eye becomes her superpower. It should: • Be gentle and encouraging for young readers • Celebrate bravery, uniqueness, and resilience • Show how differences can become strengths • Include bright, engaging illustrations • Be written in a warm, child-friendly tone, suitable for ages 2–6 📄 Format: I’d like the finished book to be in PDF format so I can print a physical copy. 🎁 Purpose: This book is for my daughter, but I also plan to print a copy to donate to the Royal Children’s Hospital, so it can be read to newly diagnosed children — offering comfort, hope, and a sense of strength during a really difficult time. ⸻ Would you like help drafting the actual story outline or page-by-page structure next?
