I am looking for an experienced landscaper, handyman or builder to carry out a small garden project. Labour Only – I will purchase and supply all materials separately. Scope of Works Shed Base Construct a level shed base measuring approximately 2600mm x 1900mm. Base construction: Ground preparation and excavation MOT Type 1 sub-base Sand/cement bedding Installation of paving slabs Brick edging to three sides Shed Installation Assemble and install a new Globel Apex Metal Shed (8ft x 6ft). The shed has already been purchased and will be delivered to site. Securely fix the shed to the base using anchor bolts. Raised Flower Bed Construct a raised flower bed along the left-hand fence. Approximate dimensions: Length: 6.5m Width: 400mm Brickwork: One brick wide Three courses high Staggered brickwork Small Fence Infill Close a small gap between the rear fence and brick wall.(width: 30cm) This is a very small infill section, not a full fence replacement. Remove old decking and lay new paving/patio I’m looking for someone experienced to remove and dispose of an existing area of timber decking and replace it with paving. The condition of the ground underneath the decking is not yet known. The job may therefore involve some preparation or foundation work before the paving can be laid, such as: * Removing the decking, timber frame and existing supports * Clearing and disposing of all waste * Assessing the ground and existing base underneath * Excavating or levelling the area if required * Installing an appropriate sub-base and compacting it * Allowing for suitable drainage and a fall away from the house * Laying and pointing the paving * Leaving the area clean and tidy I would like someone who has previous experience laying patios or paving, rather than decking removal alone. Please explain: 1. Your relevant experience with patio or paving installations 2. Whether you can remove and legally dispose of the old decking 3. Whether you can supply the necessary materials or would prefer me to order them (I don't mind, but we do want some nice paving - york stone or equivalent) 4. Your availability to visit, inspect the area and provide an estimate 5. Whether your price includes labour, waste disposal and any equipment required The final scope may need to be agreed once the decking has been lifted and the condition of the ground underneath is visible. Please do not undertake significant additional foundation work without agreeing the cost with me first.

Details: Area size: 3.1m long x 1.3m wide (approx. 4m²) Slabs: 900 x 600 x 20mm porcelain (State Pearl) — I already have all the slabs Simple 2-row grid layout with the 600mm side across the width Some straight cuts required to fit the length and around a couple of existing obstacles (shed, walls, etc.) Proper outdoor installation: prepare base if needed, full-bed flexible adhesive, 3-5mm joints, and grout I will supply: All paving slabs Adhesive, primer, grout, and any other materials (I’ll purchase these before the job) You will need to provide: Tools and equipment for cutting (wet saw), levelling, and installation Experience with large-format outdoor porcelain paving Small, straightforward job. I need the whole garden clean from tree roots, all gone, there are so many branches as well as roots deep into the ground. I want the soil to be levelled as well as cleaned. I want the bricks to be removed as well as the black heavy mat which imbedded into the ground. The task is a bit big. But I also want all the plants gone. Completely gone, should only see the ground. As well as the plant holder against the wall, needs to go, the bricks, everything levelled from there, as well all the plants, and roots. I want a clean garden without anything around, as I’m disabled I can’t have anything which may cause me to have a problem. It’s a small garden. I don’t want the growth next year. I would like it to be cleaned. So I can actually get paving or concrete done in the future. If you could do this that would be a bonus.

I started a job and bit off more then I could chew - see photos I’ve ordered MOT and had a go at laying the paving on the raised area at the back of my garden onto the earth that was there (for setting out purposes) but it all needs digging and flattening as the area is uneven. I don’t need a professional as such just someone with the strength of mind and body to do this. I just want it to look flat and half decent as it looks a right mess 😅
