* Lawn has been damaged following construction of a garden room. It’s about 120 m sq. * Existing lawn is patchy with some completely bare areas * Some areas have become compacted and uneven * Several holes/dips need filling and levelling * Looking to renovate the existing lawn rather than lay new turf * Work required: * Remove dead grass/thatch and any remaining building debris * Aerate/decompact the lawn, particularly heavily trafficked construction areas * Loosen/prep completely bare areas ready for reseeding * Fill deeper holes and depressions with screened topsoil * Level the lawn using 70/30 sand/soil lawn dressing * Use a lawn levelling rake/lute to improve the overall levels * Overseed the whole area, with heavier seeding on bare/damaged areas * Apply suitable new-lawn/autumn fertiliser * Firm/rake seed into the surface * Initial watering * Remove and dispose of all waste generated * We would like a hard-wearing lawn suitable for children and a dog * We are considering using Barenbrug RPR Sport grass seed and are happy to supply this ourselves * Potentially the work will be done in two halves of approximately 75m² each, allowing us to fence one half off while it establishes * We can discuss whether both halves should be prepared at once or completed a few weeks apart * Please quote for labour and indicate whether you can supply the screened topsoil, 70/30 lawn dressing and fertiliser * Please only respond if you have experience renovating/levelling and reseeding lawns. Hi, I’m looking to hire hospitality staff for a private 30th birthday celebration in London on a Saturday evening. There will be approximately 17–20 guests. I’m looking for 2 professional waiting staff and 1 catering/kitchen assistant. The food will mainly be catered or pre-purchased, so I do not require a chef. I need someone who can prepare/assemble and plate simple canapés and snacks, organise and replenish food, heat/finish items where required, and keep the kitchen area organised. The waiting staff would be required to circulate with trays of canapés and snacks, serve guests, replenish food and drinks, clear used plates/glasses and help keep the event space tidy throughout the evening. The event is intended to have an intimate, luxury/editorial feel, so I would ideally like staff comfortable with polished private-event service and an all-black uniform. The event will begin at approximately 8pm, although I would like the kitchen assistant to arrive earlier for preparation.

Looking for a home cook to help with weekly meal prep, either in my kitchen or cooked at yours and dropped round — whichever works better for you. It’s just for one person, but I’d like each dish made in a batch of ~ 4 portions, so I’ve got one to eat that evening , one for lunch the next day and 2 to freeze for later in the week . Fairly simple, home-cooked meals rather than anything restaurant-style — comfort food, healthy weeknight dinners, that kind of thing. Happy to discuss cuisine preferences and any recipes I like, or open to your suggestions if you’ve got go-to dishes that freeze well. Ideally once a week, ongoing if it’s a good fit.
