I am seeking an Australian lawyer or legally trained professional (commercial / franchise law preferred) to review a franchise dispute and provide initial legal guidance. Background: I am a former franchisee of an accounting franchise. I gave written notice in October 2025 that I intended to discontinue the franchise. The franchisor then removed my system access and informed other franchisees that my territory was available. In January 2026, I received a lawyer’s letter of demand seeking $100,000, alleging that I “abandoned” the franchise under the franchise agreement. I dispute this and am seeking advice on my legal position.
