Hi there, I’m looking for someone experienced to mount my TV securely on a wall at my home in London. Job details: Mount a standard flat-screen TV on a plaster/brick wall (please bring your own tools) Ensure it is safely and securely fixed Bracket will be available Cable tidying would be a bonus if possible Requirements: Experience with TV wall mounting Must have own tools and fixings (if required) Careful and tidy work Budget: £50–£60 (please only apply if you’re happy to work within this range) TV Size - 65 inch, Sony Bravia See the attached image. Your Setup: • Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo turntable (secondhand, with upgrades) • Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge • Cambridge Audio AXA35 amplifier (refurbished) The Fault: After a period of inactivity, one channel drops out completely. Jiggling the RCA cables at both the turntable and amp end temporarily restores both channels. Once restored, it stays working until the next period of inactivity. What’s Been Ruled Out: • Not the RCA cables (new cable tested, same fault) • Not the amplifier (Bluetooth on same amp always works perfectly) • Not the RCA sockets being loose in the plinth (pressing from outside does nothing) • Not the cartridge pins (though these were found unseated and were reseated) Confirmed: • Fault follows the phono input, not the amp or cables • Diagnostic swapping confirmed fault originates at the turntable end • Pro-Ject’s own manual lists cold solder joint or loose internal connection as the cause of exactly this symptom Most Likely Cause: Cold solder joint or loose internal wire connection at the RCA breakout box inside the turntable plinth
