Task Description: I am seeking an RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) to provide a structural compliance letter (Letter of Opinion) for an internal renovation in a 2007 built single-storey house. Current Status & Scope: Wall Removal: A portion of an internal partition wall has already been removed. I have provided clear photos from inside the roof space showing the wall is parallel to the roof trusses and appears to be non-load bearing. Further Removal: As marked with red arrows in the attached photos, I intend to remove an additional section of the wall to accommodate the relocation of an internal door. Internal Door Relocation: The original door (removed from the first section) will be re-installed into this new opening. Wall Closure: The remaining open space will be closed off with a new right-angle partition wall (non-structural). What I need from you: Review the provided on-site and roof-space photos. Provide a formal RPEQ Letter of Opinion confirming the wall is non-load bearing to ensure future building compliance and insurance peace of mind. Please advise if you can provide this based on the photos (Desktop Assessment) or if a quick site visit is required. Location: Calamvale, 4116 House Type: 2007 Brick Veneer, Single Storey.

Need a kitchen utensil draw rebuilt, the box of the draw behind the facia is badly damaged, so need to build a new box, not sure on what the normal cost would be to do this so will just put a nominal figure in the money section. Also have it as online as the draw can be taken away to be re-built.

Manufacture 4 cabinets (3 of Design A provided, 1 of Design B provided). These display cabinets will be used to display and sell stock at markets and shopping centres. - Basic designs provided as a starting point. There is scope for you to refine and/or alter these where necessary to fit purpose. - Approx measurements provided. To be refined by you, taking into account practical elements (such as lockable under-counter storage - not illustrated in images provided) - Cabinets are designed to be easily transported by a pallet jack. - General aesthetic visual/design/feel = Horizontal slat-walled wooden cabin. - The exterior of each cabinet will each incorporate a framed inset securable display box/window. Please factor in the window framing shown in the design, and probably a clear acrylic window (no glass). The roof and central back wall of this inset box incorporates into shelving on the interior side. - Designs show individual slats stop 300mm from top, leaving an intentionally larger piece of wood for signage. - Regarding material selection, factors to consider should take into account: overall weight considerations, suitable structural function, durability, safety, aesthetics, and construction material price. - Please include Painting / treatment suitable for maximum outdoor durability. Must be in metro Adelaide. Transportation after construction would be nice, but is not essential.
