Cap off this gas pipe going into the hob? Being changed to electric hob so no longer needed. Pipe can stay just disconnected so it’s safe. Top of the pipe may need to come off so that the new hob can fit in. Will need to be gas registered engineer.

Hi, we need a certified Gas Safe Registered Engineer with commercial catering and LPG tickets to do a fresh pipework installation and certification for our mobile catering trailer.Here are the exact specifications of the job:The Trailer: It is a brand-new 4-meter empty catering trailer arriving in Harrow around 10th July. It will be located outdoors on private land.Gas Cylinder Setup: There will be 2 LPG gas cylinders mounted safely inside an external gas box outside the trailer.The Appliances: We need copper pipework and connections fitted from the external gas box to 3 brand-new LPG appliances inside the trailer: 1 Gas Burner, 1 Griddle, and 1 Fryer.Required Certification: After complete connection, testing, and tightness checks, the engineer must issue a valid Commercial Gas Safety Certificate (CP44) for mobile catering.Please quote your total final price for the labor, pipework installation, testing, and the CP44 certificate. You must present your valid Gas Safe ID card with LPG/Commercial Catering competences before starting. Thank you!
