We are looking for a quote to put varnish on one side of the floor (newer floor) and stain and varnish on another side (older floor) to match the other side. I have attached the floor plan (please refer to the plans of the first floor only). All rooms on the first floor need to be done including 2 sets of stairs but excluding the laundry, bathroom and toilet. Please share photos of your previous work when providing a quote.

Looking for someone with experience sanding timber floors to help sand hundred year old Jarrah floorboards. Total area is around 350 square metres. We already have a floor sander and basic gear. Just need someone who knows how to work with old timber and can get a good, even finish without damaging the boards. Job is in Port Adelaide. Looking for this to start straight away. Happy to pay hourly or day rate depending on experience. If you’ve worked on heritage or older floors before, let me know.

Sand & polish existing timber floorboards which are original. Living room, dining, kitchen & 2 bedrooms. All prep to be included in quote, all materials, labour, rubbish removed & area free from dust so furniture can be moved back in. If possible it you can use a coating that would give extra protection against dog scratches that would be great. I have two & had a coating in my last house which really helped with maintenance. Please not the floor plan is estimate the spare room is 3.4 x 2.8
