I recently had the timber floors in three bedrooms (total area approx. 40 sqm) newly coated, however the smell is extremely strong and currently not tolerable for living in the house. I am looking for an experienced floor sanding professional to: Sand and remove the recently applied floor coating Provide quotes for the following options: Option A: Sanding + apply a low-odour / low-VOC floor finish suitable for occupied homes Option B: Sanding and removal of the coating only (no repaint), depending on recommendation and pricing The work is urgent, as the rooms are currently difficult to use due to the strong odour.
