Looking for an experienced carpet fitter to install carpet in a room and adjoining hallway. Areas: - Room: approx. 5m x 4m - Hallway: approx. 4m x 2.5m - Hallway includes 1–2 steps I will provide all materials, including: - Carpet - Underlay - Gripper rods Work required: - Install the gripper rods - Fit the underlay - Professionally fit the carpet in the room, hallway and steps - Remove the existing wooden threshold between the room doorway and hallway - Join the carpet at the doorway using a hot-iron/seaming method, so the join is neat and as seamless/invisible as possible - Trim and finish everything neatly around the edges, doorway and steps All the main materials will be provided. I’m looking for someone with the correct tools and experience to carry out the fitting. Please quote for labour only and only respond if you have experience with professional carpet fitting and hot-iron carpet joining/seaming.

We have an engineered hardwood floor that has been pushed up by damp (the source of which has been resolved). We need someone to carefully remove the affected boards, plane them and refit them so that the floor is flat again. The boards are under carpet which can be pulled back and we will get it refixed separately once the floor boards are adjusted. Would need to be someone who is experience in carpentry/joinery.
