The floor boards need repairing. When the heater vent was installed, it looks like they just cut the hole, which left the planks of wood between the vent and the doorframe not supported underneath. Someone stepped on it the other day, cracking a board and pushing it down. Likely just needs to be glued back together, then some pine wood put underneath the floor boards to support it and prevent it cracking again. The subfloor has enough clearance to walk around for the most part. Directly under the vent there's probably about 1m clearance

Hello, Am getting my kitchen renovated (at quote stage) and wanting to do the floors prior to installing new kitchen. Have slate from the front door, hallway and into the kitchen area along with dining room. Looking to remove the slate to replace with a floating floor board or modern variant option. Gauging price and cost of this exercise and if cost effective looking to do quite soon. Have photos attached however can obtain exact measurements for quoting purposes.

We need to have someone to help with installing laminate Flooring for master bedroom and the walk-in wardrobe, as highlighted area in the photo. The original carpet has already been removed. Just need to remove skirting board, install Flooring, re-install skirting board. and gap filling. We provide the laminate flooring boards, underlays, and floor trim. But you will need to bring saws and all other tools and materials to fulfil the job.

I require to restump a wall. To do so a strip of flooring will need to come up to access the underfloor. The flooring is 12mm woodboards placed on fibre board. A strip of 1m x 7m needs to come up including the fibre board and jarrah boards to allow access to the underfloor. Once the house is restumped this section needs to be reinstated. There is spare floor boards but would expect to reinstate the existing where possible. The job will be done in two parts, the removal and then the reinstate and should be within a few days of each other.
