A section of my timber flooring lifted and bowed after water exposure. The damaged boards have already been removed. I need someone to: 1. Re-fix the loose timber boards to the concrete slab using a suitable flooring adhesive rated for timber on concrete (for example Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick, SikaBond 125 or equivalent). 2. Plane, trim or adjust the existing bowed boards so they sit flat and level and fit perfectly. 3. Install and glue the replacement boards so the pattern aligns with the surrounding flooring. 4. Ensure the repaired section is secure, flush, and ready for sanding at a later stage if required. What I will supply: Existing loose boards that came from the floor. What you need to supply: Adhesive suitable for timber over concrete, tools, spacers, clamps and any small materials needed to achieve a flat repair.

Tenants have taken carpets up and sawed a hole in the floor of three rooms in the house. The wood from the floor and the carpets are still in the property and look to be in good condition. I need the holes to be repaired (doesn’t need to look good!) and the carpet putting back down. The floors and ceilings also need fixing so I want to do the floors afterwards so job won’t start for a few weeks

Remove existing damaged floorboards - water damaged ones by balcony door (general wear and tear mainly) I have a spare pack of the original floorboards to use as replacements. Of course they will need to be cut to size. Use whole pack to repair as much as you can. May require a little bit of new underlay at the edges of the floorboard as it sinks a little when you step on it. I've thrown in a budget of $100, but I'm flexible. Let me know. The job is just an interim measure as I will be replace the whole floor in a year or so.
