Hi, I'm looking for someone to install a wooden fence for me. I already have the fence panels and the posts. Two of the posts are already installed securely using Postcrete, and there's two more left to be done, and the fence panels then need to be attached to the posts, either by drilling/screwing them in or using another suitable method you'd recommend. I've tried doing it myselt but I'm struggling with drilling into the panels/posts, so I'd prefer someone experienced to complete the installation properly. Please let me know if this is something you can help with and your approximate price. Thanks!

Looking for a handyman or carpenter to replace a rotted wooden gate post and re-hang an existing metal garden gate. Job Scope: Remove the existing rotted wooden post anchored to the concrete wall pillar. Supply and install a new treated timber gate post (approx. 33 inches / 84 cm long, 5 inches wide). Securely fix the new post into the wall/ground structure. Re-attach/re-mount the metal gate onto the new timber post using existing or new heavy-duty metal hinge brackets. Ensure gate swings freely and latches properly. Requirements: Must bring suitable tools, fixings, and materials (or state in offer if timber post needs to be supplied). Experience with timber, masonry fixings, and exterior gate installation.

Image 1 Inspect and stabilise the boundary concrete pillar located on your property. Carry out minor repairs close the gap between my boundary with the pedestrian walk and the corner pillar on the rear boundary between my garden and my neighbour's garden. Close the gap which allows animals to enter. Work to be completed with respect to the fact that the adjoining fence line is the neighbour’s responsibility, ensuring no encroachment or alteration to their fence structure. (Image 2)

I’m looking to replace my existing back gate at my property in Wandsworth. The aim is to create a secure, good-quality entrance that functions almost like a private entrance to the property, rather than just a basic garden gate. I’m open to the material and design — timber, composite, aluminium or another suitable option — but the finished gate should: - Look attractive and complement the property - Feel substantial and well-finished - Provide good privacy and security - Have a good-quality lock/latching system - Be durable and suitable for regular daily use - Include any necessary replacement/repair of the frame, posts or hinges - Be properly fitted and finished rather than a basic like-for-like replacement I’m open to suggestions from someone experienced in gates and external entrances, particularly if you can recommend a design that gives it a more premium/private-entrance feel. Budget: £900–£1,200, depending on the final design/materials. I’m willing to go up to £1,350 for a genuinely bespoke/high-quality solution if justified. Timing: As soon as practical. I’d ideally like someone to assess the existing gate/opening and advise on the best solution before proceeding.
