Bedroom door currently has mismatched handles and no proper latch — it just stays shut because it sticks slightly in the frame. I’ve already purchased a standard internal door handle set with latch. Job involves: - Removing existing handles/bolt - Cutting in and fitting latch - Installing new handles - Fitting strike plate to frame - Minor adjustment/planing if door needs it to close properly Standard internal wooden door.

I have taken the wallpaper off a bedroom and require someone to prepare and skim plaster the walls (ceiling not required) and prep to a point they are ready for painting. Room dimensions: 2.6m x 2.8m approx. Room has chimney breast with two alcoves, a window and a door, skirting board and currently a radiator. Skirting board and door/window frames not to be taken off and I will remove radiator if required. I have filler, skim-plaster, rollers and basic tools. I’d prefer to use those materials that I have.

Hi, I need a small 60cm shelf installed securely on an internal wall. I believe the wall is plaster over brick. I previously tried installing it but the holes didn’t hold properly, so they’ve now been filled and will need fresh holes drilled into solid brick behind the plaster. The shelf will only hold light items (a small box and a candle), but I want it fitted securely and level. Please bring appropriate tools and fixings for brick walls. Thanks 🙂
