I’m looking for an experienced mechanical / CAD designer to help develop a small consumer product prototype. The product is a compact handheld device with an internal mechanism and a simple push/lever action. I already have a concept and approximate dimensions, and I need help turning it into a proper 3D CAD model suitable for prototype testing and 3D printing. Scope of work: • Create a complete 3D CAD model of the product housing• Design internal structure to hold several small components• Design a simple mechanical push/lever mechanism• Ensure proper internal clearances and assembly fit• Prepare files suitable for 3D printing Deliverables required: • 3D assembly model• Exploded view• Cross-section view• STEP files• STL files for prototype printing Preferred experience: • Mechanical product design• Consumer product housings• Designing parts for 3D printing Preferred CAD software: Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar. Once shortlisted, I will provide more detailed specifications and concept documents. Please include examples of previous mechanical product or prototype work. Thanks.

I have prepared a traffic assessment report using industry and TransportNSW guidelines and and may need it signed-off by a "suitably qualified traffic engineer". The report contains a justification to provide one car space ( statutory requiremts is 2) however due to site constraints one is permissible. Council have advised one will be acceeptable in the circumstances. No adverse impact on site with one c/space nor imopact on surrounding parking or the road network. Not sure of fee for this service to check report and sign-off.

Please factor in the window framing shown in the design, and probably a clear acrylic window (no glass). The roof and central back wall of this inset box incorporates into shelving on the interior side. - Designs show individual slats stop 300mm from top, leaving an intentionally larger piece of wood for signage. - Regarding material selection, factors to consider should take into account: overall weight considerations, suitable structural function, durability, safety, aesthetics, and construction material price. - Please include Painting / treatment suitable for maximum outdoor durability. Must be in metro Adelaide. Transportation after construction would be nice, but is not essential.
