We need an electrician or data cabling engineer to run an ethernet cable from our comms cab in basement, along cable tray and up through a riser to 2nd floor. This will then lead over the ceiling (access hatches & suspended ceiling tiles) into the comms cabinet to be terminated.

Assemble all supplied components, including CPU, cooler, RAM, motherboard, PSU, GPU, storage and case fans. • Confirm physical compatibility before starting: motherboard BIOS support for the CPU, cooler/case/GPU clearance, RAM placement, power-supply connections, display outputs and front-panel wiring. • Update BIOS only if required and only using the manufacturer’s proper process. • Install Windows if you supply a legitimate licence or installer media, then install motherboard, chipset, graphics, Wi‑Fi/LAN and peripheral drivers. • Configure BIOS settings such as XMP/EXPO for RAM and appropriate boot settings. • Connect monitor, keyboard, mouse, ethernet/Wi‑Fi and audio as required. • Test temperatures, fans, storage recognition, networking, display output and basic stability under load. • Explain any fault, incompatibility or missing item before incurring additional cost or continuing with a workaround. • Leave all spare screws, boxes, manuals, cables and accessory packs with you.

My desktop PC stopped powering on after I moved it to another room. The motherboard briefly lit up once, but now there is no power, no lights and no fan movement. The motherboard and PSU are both new. I have checked the PSU switch, power cable, 24-pin motherboard cable, CPU power cable and modular PSU connections. I also tried clearing CMOS, but it made no difference. I need someone to diagnose whether the issue is the PSU, motherboard, power switch/front-panel connection, or another hardware fault. Please test the PSU and motherboard before replacing any parts.
