We’re looking for 4 reliable and experienced waitstaff to assist with a wedding event in Marrickville on Friday. This is a well-run, organised event with a clear service plan and onsite catering lead. 📍 Event Details Location: Marrickville NSW Event Type: Wedding Guests: Approx. 140 guests Service Style: Shared table service (family-style) ⏰ Shift Timing Arrival: 2:00pm sharp Finish: After dinner service & clearing (approx. late evening) Exact finish time will depend on service flow, but this is a full afternoon–evening shift. Expected finish time is 9.30/10pm. 🧑‍🍳 Duties Include Setting up all crockery and cutlery on tables Assisting with table setup and coordination with catering team All table setup must be completed by 4:30pm During service Serving food to 4 long banquet tables (shared / family-style service) Carrying and placing shared bowls of curries, rice and bread Monitoring tables and assisting guests as needed After service Clearing all guest plates, cutlery and shared bowls Returning items to the kitchen/dish area Assisting with general tidy-up post dinner service ✅ Requirements Previous wedding or event waitstaff experience (important) Confident carrying multiple plates/bowls Well-presented, professional and punctual Comfortable working as part of a coordinated team Black attire preferred (standard event wear) 💰 Payment Please quote your hourly rate Open to individual applicants or a group of 4 who already work together If you’re experienced, reliable and enjoy working weddings, we’d love to hear from you.
