We are looking for someone to install our carpet and vinyl flooring, the vinyl is for the kitchen & the carpet is for the hallway and bedroom. • We will be providing the carpet and vinyl ONLY! • We will need the floor prep to be done with all essential materials and supplies provided by yourself for carpeting & Vinyl (Underlay, Carpet Gripper, Tools etc). • Carpet area Covergae is Apx 16m2 • Vinyl area coverage is Apx 17m2 This is in a small one bedroom flat and is not a huge amount of space, we are looking for a reasonable price only! I’m renovating a bedroom approximately 3.8m × 2.6m and would like the room professionally prepared and painted. One area beside the window currently has mould/damp damage and significant peeling/flaking paint. The underlying moisture issue will be investigated and resolved separately before decorating begins. I’m looking for a decorator to provide a proper finished surface rather than simply painting over the existing walls. Work required: • Remove/prepare loose and flaking paint where necessary • Prepare the previously affected area once confirmed dry • Fill cracks, holes and surface imperfections as required • Sand/prep walls for a smooth finish • Apply suitable primer/stain-blocking treatment where required • Paint all bedroom walls in a warm cream/off-white colour • Paint ceiling if required • Paint skirting boards/woodwork where required • Apply sufficient coats for an even professional finish • Protect the existing carpet throughout the work • Leave the room clean/tidy afterwards The existing carpet is staying and was installed relatively recently, so protecting it properly is important. The room will be emptied of furniture before work starts. Please confirm: • Labour cost • Whether paint/materials are included • Number of coats included • Whether filling/sanding/repair of the damaged areas is included • Whether ceiling, skirting boards and other woodwork are included • Estimated duration

I'm looking for a quote to replace the carpet in a bedroom in my second-floor flat in Bow, E3. The room is approximately 3.10m x 3.66m (around 11.3m²). I am planning to purchase the flooring myself and am currently looking at Remland Colourful Woodline White Plank cushion vinyl. It is 2.5mm thick, felt-backed and has a stated 15dB acoustic rating. https://www.remlandcarpets.co.uk/vinyl-flooring/clearance-vinyl/rustic-white-wood-plank-vinyl I would need: - Removal and disposal of the existing carpet and gripper rods - Any necessary preparation of the existing subfloor - Professional installation of the new cushion vinyl - Advice on whether the product's integrated felt backing is sufficient or whether any additional acoustic treatment would be appropriate/compatible As the flat is managed by Southern Housing, I need their permission before the work can go ahead. They have asked me to provide details of the proposed flooring and soundproofing/underlay, so I would also need confirmation of the intended installation method before booking the work, as well as details of the installer.
