I’m looking for an experienced furniture maker/upholsterer to design and build a bespoke L-shaped dining bench/banquette for my home. I have a compact dining area and want to replace my current dining seating with an upholstered corner bench similar to the inspiration photo attached. Approximate measurements: * Short side: 46 inches / 117 cm * Long side: 70 inches / 178 cm I need the seating made specifically to these measurements so it fits neatly into the corner next to my sofa. What I’m looking for: * L-shaped corner dining bench * Fully upholstered seat and back * Warm beige/cream fabric * Vertical fluted/channelled design similar to my inspiration photo * Modern, luxurious but cosy appearance * No bulky arms * Suitable for everyday family dining * Made to measure rather than an off-the-shelf bench I’m also open to advice on the best seat height and depth, as the space is relatively compact and I want to make sure there is still plenty of room around the dining table. I’m planning to pair it with a round wooden dining table and two upholstered dining chairs opposite the bench. I would ideally like someone who can: 1. Discuss the design with me before starting 2. Visit to measure the space if necessary 3. Supply suitable upholstery/fabric options 4. Build the bench to the exact measurements 5. Deliver and, ideally, install it I have attached photos of my actual dining area and an inspiration photo showing the style I’m looking for. Location: South London Please provide a quote including materials, labour, delivery and installation. I’m happy to consider different price options depending on the quality of materials and upholstery.
