I’m looking for a joiner or experienced handyman in Handbridge, Chester, to measure, make and fit a removable insulated panel for my cat to use overnight. The lower section of the uPVC window opens outwards from the bottom. I’d like a lightweight white panel to fit on the room side and cover the whole lower opening, including the gaps at the sides, to stop cold draughts. I’ll supply the cat flap, which needs to be fitted low down in the panel. I’d like the panel to rest on the sill and be held against a draught seal by swivel clips or similar quick-release fixings. A shallow timber surround is fine if needed. I want to be able to put the panel in at night and take it out in the morning without tools, then close the window normally. I can provide photos of the window and a mock-up. Please quote for measuring, supplying the panel and fixings, and fitting everything, including my cat flap (which I will provide)
