I have a custom built in wardrobe that we DIY’d. For the drawers I used IKEA PAX drawers that we altered to fit our dimensions but they’re not strong enough and have broken. I want someone to build me new ones that are more solid and will sit on fresh tracks to stop the jamming and splitting I’ve experienced. Some urgency as I currently don’t have functioning drawers. I value quality and experience - please don’t send me a generic message if your experience is only flat pack furniture etc.

I need an experienced carpenter to complete two woodwork tasks in my home. All items should be left sanded, clean, and bare. I will handle all priming and final painting myself. Task 1: Build & Fit Overlaid Front Cover The Goal: Create a new MDF front face designed to sit in front of (overlaid on) the existing side and base panels to clear an upgraded, protruding consumer unit. Design: Open to your professional suggestions. This could be a single whole-front panel that completely unlatches/lifts off, a hinged cupboard door, or a fixed front panel with a smaller unlatching access hatch. Materials: You must supply all materials (MDF, hinges, magnetic latches, or catches etc). You can reuse any parts from the old cover if helpful. Dimensions: Bottom edge: 71 cm Topmost edge: 49 cm Right-hand edge: 78 cm Left-hand side consists of 3 distinct edges (moving bottom to top): Bottom-left section (Vertical): 45 cm Mid section (Diagonal): 30 cm Top-left section (Vertical): 16 cm Task 2: Dado Rail Preparation & Restoration The Goal: Prepare six pieces of removed timber dado rail so they are ready for re-use. The Work: Remove all old nails, clean off chunks of plaster and caulk, and thoroughly sand/key the surface of the timber. Dimensions: Six pieces total, measuring 55mm in height with a 20mm projection, spanning a combined length of 555cm.

The base of our bay sash window appear to have been made with softwood and has rotten patches in the corners. I have tried to remove as much of the rotten wood as possible, treat the surrounding wood and fill where possible. There are some wooden pieces that need to be replaced. Would suite someone with window replacement / maintenance experience.

We need someone to construct two bathroom vanities for us. We have the external wood materials, but we don't have the internal drawer mechanisms. We will need you to order the internal draw mechanisms. - One bathroom vanity is to be 700 mm wide. We have 800 mm wide cabinets that will need to be shaved down or cut down to size. - The other will be 1 m wide. We do not require the sinks to be added; we have someone else who will do that. We need to be able to have a waste pipe on the first shelf. The second shelf is fine as is, but we do not have the drawer mechanism there.
