Looking for an experienced handyman to assemble a brand-new 6x4ft metal apex shed and two SONGMICS boltless shelving units in my garden. Tasks Required: Base Prep & Assembly: Lay a damp-proof membrane (DPM plastic sheet) on the ground area before erecting the shed. Shed Assembly: Full assembly of 6x4ft metal apex shed (Dimensions: 2.00m W x 1.26m D x 1.88m H). Anchor shed to base ground. Weatherproofing: Apply exterior silicone sealant along the inside bottom edge to keep rainwater out. Shelving Setup: Assemble two SONGMICS shelving units (as four 90 cm half-height workbenches) and place them side-by-side inside. Materials Required (Tasker to supply & include in total price): 1x Sheet/Roll of Damp-Proof Membrane (DPM plastic) 1x Tube of exterior silicone sealant Details: Shed and shelving boxes are delivered and ready on-site. Space available: 223 cm x 234 cm. Please bring your own tools (cordless drill, caulking gun, spirit level).

Fitting only - I'm buying the blinds, curtains and tracks myself. Two-stage job, same person for both. STAGE 1 - MEASURE AND ADVISE Come round, measure up and tell me exactly what to order: final width and drop in mm, recess or face fix, track lengths, bracket counts. Written down rather than talked through - typed or a photo of your notes is fine. 9 windows need measuring: - 3 blinds inside the recess (Roman and roller), 720x840mm up to 725x1670mm. Recesses are deep and square - 2 blinds on the back French doors, 668x1840mm each. They fix to the door leaves so they move with the doors, and must clear the handles - Curtains in 3 rooms (lounge, 2 bedrooms), 4 windows, all on ceiling-fixed wave tracks - Swish Discreet Ceiling Aluminium Ripple Track, black, Dunelm. One bedroom has two windows on the same wall with a wide gap; we want one track across the full wall so the curtains close as one. Wave spacing and finished width need confirming too My sizes are rough phone-app ones. Yours are what I'll order from, so please only give figures you're happy to stand behind. STAGE 2 - INSTALL Once everything arrives - 1-2 weeks - come back and fit the lot in one visit. Plus a tenth item: a Velux blackout blind, already bought. It clips into brackets already on the sash - no measuring, no drilling, just a step ladder. WORTH KNOWING - New build, walls and ceilings are plasterboard - please bring suitable fixings - All three tracks fix to the ceiling, one around 3m carrying full-length curtains. If there's anything you'd want to know about what's above the plasterboard - joist direction, spacing, noggins - tell me what to ask and I'll get it from the developer - uPVC windows, trickle vents on most frames, side handles, upper opening sash on the taller ones. Your call on recess versus face fix - Curtains floor length from the track. Radiators under two windows Please quote the whole job, both visits, rather than per item, and how long each would take.
