I’m looking to get a small section of my bathroom re-tiled in Ashfield, NSW. It’s a tiled hob/ledge around my shower that measures roughly 90cm x 60cm on the front, with a small side and top area — less than 1 square metre in total. I’d like to match the existing plain white tiles. No waterproofing required — just removal of the current tiles and retiling the area.

Price to be negotiated - $ figure entered because I had to. We want to remove the shower hob and existing screen and replace with just a screen. This will require tiles to be cut out and lifted and replaced with new tiles as the current tiles are butted to the hob. We have the same tiles and will purchase the shower screen required to be fitted. This will also need re-waterproofing where the tiles are removed before re-tiling. The fall of the tiles and the way the shower is set means does not allow water to flow all the way across , but the drain could possibly be replaced with a gutter drain which would assist in drainage.

Ensuite and bathroom showers. Shower screens will be removed by others. Remove tiles on the top of each shower hob in both rooms. Replace these tiles, 6 tiles on each hob. Retile both shower floors over the top of existing tiles - floor size 900 x 900 mm. Tiles supplied by owner.

I have been away for a week and come back to no hot water. Checked the boiler and the pilot light is out and is not igniting when running hot water. Followed the instructions on the door panel (see photo) and tried to ignite the boiler manually. It is not lighting. There's no noticeable sound or smell of gas. Gas hob inside the house is working so there is gas supply to the house. Potentially, it's a problem with the ignition? Looking for someone qualified to work with gas.
