I accidentally pulled the fridge away from the wall while it was still plugged in, which caused the mains plug to be pulled off the power cable. The power cable is still securely attached to the back of the fridge and the appliance was working perfectly before this happened. The only damage appears to be at the plug end of the cable, where the wires have come out of the plug. I believe the fridge may just need a new 13A plug fitted or the power lead repaired. The model is Beko CDA539FW-2.

NEFF built-in wine cooler (Model: KU9213HG0G) has stopped cooling. The unit powers on and the display lights up, but both temperature displays flash continuously and the appliance beeps. The temperature remains around 23°C and it does not cool at all. I can hear a clicking sound every 10–15 seconds, which sounds like the compressor is trying to start but fails. The internal circulation fan is also not spinning. Looking for an experienced appliance repair engineer to diagnose and repair the fault. Please let me know your call-out charge, estimated repair cost, and whether you have experience repairing built-in NEFF wine coolers. Please bring common compressor start relay/capacitor parts if possible.

section. The freezer still works fine, but there’s heavy frost built up inside the freezer and the air vents are icing over, which seems to be blocking cold air from reaching the fridge. Looking for someone experienced with appliance repair to: • Diagnose the fault • Likely a defrost system issue (heater, thermostat or timer) if it re-frosts after defrosting • Carry out the repair, or advise if it’s not worth fixing I have photos of the frost buildup I can share.
