Stack them. 2 - Pull out large rubble, stones, building material, rubbish from the shallow sub-floor between the joists. You'll need heavy gloves and a mask - it's dusty and dirty but methodical work. I did it all-day Sunday in the other rooms. Bag rubbish in bin bags and carry to the front. 3 - Once mostly clear of large items, use the site vacuum to clear up remaining dust. Replace vac bags when needed. First picture shows the boards. Second picture shows an example of the rubble.

None of the screws seem loose, but the chair does feel wobblier than when I first used it. It moves side to side and back and forth with the slightest shift in weight. I think its something to do with the actual cylinder placement. Is it possible to get someone to take a look and ensure its a bit more stable?

Slats replacing on wooden platform bed for one solid board like a divan. The slats transmit a lot of partner movement in the bed. I spoke to a mattress store and they said a divan bed is better to isolate movement - similar to putting the mattress directly on the floor. So it basically requires cutting wooden board to size to fit across the entire top of the bed - all the way to the edges - since the bed is the exact size of the mattress, then drilling or nailing it in place nice and solid.

Sofa has two small areas of damage on the seat tops: a 5cm linear tear and about a 9cm by 9cm hole. Would like to repair the tear and holes to avoid reupholstering. Needle felting matching grey wool fibre into the cloth is the method I have in mind, but a discreet reweave would also be welcome. The covers are fixed, so the work needs to be done on the sofa from the front.
