Experienced Handyman / Site Supervisor – Commercial Fit Out Location: South East (multiple project sites) Employment Type: Full-time Sector: Commercial Fit Out, Retail, Medical & Specialist Environments We are seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Handyman / Hands-On Site Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working across a wide range of commercial project types—from retail shopfitting to high‑specification medical fit outs—and who can combine practical skill with strong on‑site leadership. As a key member of our operations team, you will support the delivery of several ongoing projects across the South East. You’ll play a dual role: carrying out hands-on tasks on site while also supervising works, supporting the team, and stepping in to ensure continuity between projects. You must be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, taking initiative to solve problems, maintain quality standards, and keep projects progressing smoothly Carry out hands-on tasks including: Basic labouring Carpentry and minor joinery General handyman duties Light construction and fit-out works Support and supervise site activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.Fill labour or skill gaps across several projects when needed.Collaborate with trades, subcontractors, and project managers.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site environment. Work independently when required, using sound judgement to complete tasks to a high standard. Proven experience in commercial fit out, ideally including retail shopfitting and medical or specialist environments.Strong general trade skills, particularly carpentry and practical problem‑solving.Experience in a hands-on supervisory or lead handyman role.Strong communication skills with the ability to support team members on site.Able to work independently and take initiative.Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travel between projects).

I have approx. 50+ name labels that need to be sewn onto clothes [tshits, pants, trousers, socks [these need one on each sock along with an additional cotton strip], bedding [sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers], towels, adhoc items and I'd like a quote pls. Looking for a reliable home/garage-based helper to pack and post my first test batch of small flags. The flags are light and fold down very small when packed (about the size of a CD or DVD case). They’re good quality ones from China. The items are pre-folded and in plastic packaging. All I need you to do is place them in the packaging i'll provide you with and print or write out the address details and then post them I can provide labels also. I will send an initial bulk delivery of around 100 pieces straight to your address for short-term storage. Then when orders come in (starting low at roughly 20–50 per month) I’ll message you the buyer details each day so you can pack and post them via Royal Mail. I work on a ship so everything will be done remotely – I can’t handle it myself. This is just for the initial test run to get things started. Paid per order – price can be discussed.
