We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to complete a property inventory and readiness check before a property goes live on Airbnb. The purpose of the visit is to make sure the property is fully prepared for guests and that all essential items are present, working and in good condition. What you’ll need to do Complete a full inventory check of the property Check that all furniture and essential items are present Check kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils Check bedroom items, including beds, mattresses, pillows, duvets and linen Check bathroom essentials and fixtures Check TVs, Wi-Fi, appliances, lights and other key equipment Check for any damage, missing items or maintenance issues Take clear photos of any issues identified Take photos of key areas/items as evidence of the property's condition Flag anything that needs replacing, repairing or adding before the property goes live Complete a simple checklist/report after the inspection Ideal candidate We're looking for someone who is: Very detail-oriented Reliable and punctual Comfortable inspecting properties independently Able to take clear, good-quality photos using a smartphone Able to identify obvious defects or missing items Experienced with Airbnb, serviced accommodation, property management or inventories is a bonus but not essential You do not need to be a qualified surveyor. This is a practical property readiness and inventory check rather than a formal structural survey. Hi, we have a pull-out sofa bed that has broken and we're looking for someone experienced with furniture/carpentry repairs to fix it. As shown in the photos, the long wooden support/front piece has completely detached from the pull-out section, and the wood around the attachment points on both sides has also been damaged. The pull-out mechanism itself is still present and working, so we are not looking to replace the whole sofa-bed mechanism. We need someone who can repair or remake the damaged wooden sections, securely reattach the long support piece, and ideally reinforce both sides of the existing structure so that it can safely support weight when the sofa is pulled out into a bed. We still have the detached original piece, so this can be reused if suitable or used as a template for a stronger replacement. Please only take the job if you have the necessary tools/materials and experience with furniture repair or carpentry, as we need the repair to be strong enough for the sofa bed to be used normally again. Ottoman bed mechanism has ripped out of the wooden frame, leaving a section of damaged/missing wood around the attachment point. The bed is currently stuck in the raised position. Looking for someone experienced with furniture/bed repairs to reinforce/rebuild the damaged area and securely reattach the hinge/mechanism. Tools/materials may be required. Please do not ask me for a picture as I’m out right now I will upload photos this evening. Rather, let me know if you are interested and can send pictures at 8pm.

This is a mantlepiece clock from 1969. It stopped working many years ago because the minute hand got stuck. Maybe it was dropped? I don't know. But the simple mechanism, with battery power, doesn't work. It was a wedding present and i would like to get it working. It also needs some polishing of the case. A clock making friend reckoned that it would only take half an hour to repair the mechanism.
