I have a garden wall made of brick at the front of my property (with easy access) and i would like it to be raised by the height of 2/3 rows (the wall is c6 meters in length). The job would also require you to collect the necessary brick and cement from a local masonry store Photos to follow shortly.

We have brought all the supplies, but need someone to install the brick slips (basically tiling). It’s one wall, but need to go round a window, wall units, sockets and garden doors.

I need a small brickwork repair next to my front gate. The existing bricks are fine and just need to be securely re-fixed with mortar. The gate itself is not damaged. Please see the photos.

Party wall in loft needs missing bricks replacing so they meet the roof line and around the wood rafters. A few bricks in an outside pillar need chopping out and replacing due to weathering. A vent for a shower extractor needs to be finished drilling in the loft space and covered fited outside so you will need a good set of triple ladders.

Just needed someone to apply cement to fix fallen bricks. I have bought cement mix and mortar plasticiser for the job already.

Small repair needed to the brick/stone pillar at front garden. The large top slab has come completely off and several of the bricks/blocks immediately underneath it have also come loose. I still have all the original pieces. I'm looking for someone to clean off the failed old mortar, rebuild the loose section with fresh mortar, finish the joints neatly, and securely refit the top slab. I'd also like the surrounding brickwork checked to make sure nothing else is loose. Photos attached. Are you happy to take on a small repair like this, and can you give me an approximate all-in price including materials from the photos.

Hi We have a boundary to the house that is in need of repair. Please can you quote time and materials and if you can confirm what you would do, I don’t know if this is just in need of repointing or if it needs brick replacement too, I would prefer not to replace the whole thing as I would be tight on funds to do that. (Ignore the budget I didn’t know what to put)

Looking for an experienced bricklayer/general builder to carry out repairs to the rear external wall of a property. Please see photos. Work required: * Remove all branches/vegetation growing against or into the brickwork, including growth at high level. * Remove/treat roots and remaining growth appropriately to prevent regrowth without damaging the wall. * Inspect brickwork once vegetation has been removed. * Replace damaged/loose bricks where necessary and make good deteriorated areas. * Fill and properly weatherproof all redundant holes/openings in the brickwork so no holes are left exposed. * Repoint/make good mortar where required. * Repair, reconnect and securely fix the external downpipes where required. * Make good brickwork/mortar around pipe penetrations and previous fixings. * Remove all resulting waste and leave the area tidy. Access: Some work is at upper-floor/roof level. Full scaffolding across the entire rear elevation should not be necessary, but a suitable scaffold tower/access scaffold structure will be required to safely reach the affected areas. Contractor should be suitably equipped/experienced for working at this height. Please confirm whether your quote includes labour, materials, access/scaffolding, root/vegetation treatment and waste removal. Happy for the successful contractor to inspect the wall before the exact repair requirements are agreed.

In our small bedroom of a 1930s house we have an air brick not near the floor it's near the ceiling we don't want this as it's out baby's room and it makes it cold. We would like it filled and bricked in and plastered over on the internal side.

Looking for an experienced bricklayer/builder to remove a small uPVC window and permanently brick up the opening in my 1901 house. The wall appears to be solid brick construction using old imperial London yellow stock bricks, heavily weathered/darkened. Existing bricks measure approx. 230mm L × 60mm H × 100–110mm D. Opening: Width: approx. 410mm Height excluding frame: 520mm Height including frame: 570mm Opening needs to be bricked to the full thickness of the existing wall, with the new brickwork properly toothed/bonded into the existing brickwork. Existing red-brick arch above is to remain. Bricks should match the existing size/appearance as closely as reasonably possible. Please supply all bricks, appropriate mortar and other necessary materials, and include removal/disposal of the existing window. Inside is already plasterboarded over, so no internal plastering/decorating required. Please include labour + materials in your offer. Previous bricklaying experience required. All offers welcome.
