I have a vintage lamp that needs fixing. All the wiring seems fine because I have got both the bulbs to turn on, there's just something wrong with the way they're aligned I can't work out

This a table lamp with a EU/German socket. The socket should be changed to a UK one. I suspect that there is st. wrong with the wire as each time I try to switch it on, the lamp remains switched off. I have also tried to remain the bulbs but the situation remains unchanged.

The lamp had a US/China plug and came with a bulb that had a lower voltage which tripped when I turned it on. I think it needs basic rewiring.

It is an old 60 s lamp, which sadly cannot be switched on. I have tried to buy a new bulb but it still cannot be switched on. I guess the wire is somehow broken as well as the plug has to be replaced (from EU to UK).

I brought a lamp which arrived with a USA/China plug and a 110V bulb. When I plugged it in with a UK adapter and turned it on, it broke down. I think the fuse needs to be changed due to the voltage difference.
