Hi, I’m looking for help with a driveway gate near DA2 A long metal strip/edge trim has come away from the side of the gate. The gate has electric automation, and since this happened the gate appears to be opening/closing incorrectly, so we have stopped using the automation for now. Excavate and Prep: Dig down 6–8 inches to allow for a base layer and concrete thickness, removing all grass and soft soil. Set Forms and Base: Install wooden forms along the perimeter. Pour 3–4 inches of gravel and compact it thoroughly to prevent sinking. Rebar Installation: Drill holes into the side of the existing driveway and insert rebar to connect the old and new concrete, ensuring stability. Pour Concrete: Pour the concrete into the forms, ensuring it fills the edges. Use a bull float to level the surface. Finish and Cure: Use an edger for smooth edges and apply a broom finish to match existing concrete. Remove forms after the concrete has set.

We have a medium sized concrete driveway with pebbles in it, that has a few large cracks that we would like filled. We are happy to supply materials with your advice on what products are needed. An example of the cracks can be seen in attached photo. We are not looking to resurface the whole driveway, we simply need the cracks filled as they are becoming a trip hazard!

I’m looking for an experienced tiler/paving specialist to carry out grout and joint repairs at my home. The job involves raking out and replacing grout on indoor kitchen floor tiles, including lifting and re-bedding a small number of tiles that have become slightly loose before regrouting. Outside, I need the patio slab joints raked out and repointed using a suitable exterior jointing compound, and the brick block-paved driveway joints cleaned and re-sanded with kiln-dried sand (or equivalent appropriate jointing material). I’m looking for someone with experience in tile repair and exterior paving repointing, who can supply materials and leave a clean finish. Please include availability and an estimated quote. further more there is a picture of the tuck pointed brick work where the mortor has come off the door frame and keen to tidy this up.

Driveway Channel drain needs repair

Just need an electric switch installed in my driveway outside wall
