We are currently looking for dedicated van owner-drivers to handle the delivery and pick-up of e-commerce packages, including bulky items like flat-packed furniture. What We Offer: Flexibility: Work Monday to Friday with your choice of starting time. Location: Gillman depot location, covering roughly half of Metro Adelaide each day. Pay Structure: Initially paid on a daily/hourly rate + GST. As volumes increase, we'll transition to a per parcel + kg + fuel surcharge rate to ensure attractive compensation. Role Responsibilities: Deliver ecommerce packages, averaging 20kg each, with some items 30-40kg. Manage both deliveries from the depot and pickups returning to depot (outbound parcels and e-commerce returns). Use our app for efficient routing and delivery updates (Android/iOS required with GPS and camera permissions required to be able to complete deliveries). Handle packages carefully, including depot fine sorting, scanning, loading and reporting any issues. Requirements: Own/lease your van (minimum 1 tonne capacity) and have a suitable trolley. Must possess a smartphone, appropriate PPE (hi-vis vest, safety boots). Valid ABN and willingness to invoice us each week Prior courier/delivery experience preferred, especially with courier apps like Transvirtual. Proof of registration, insurance, and driver's license. Excellent customer service skills, a can-do attitude, and comfortable moving heavy items. Willingness to undertake safety induction. I'd love two people to help pack down the components of this set-up and pack it into a large van parked outside. It needs to happen on Wednesday from 2pm until 4:30pm. I'll have a few colleagues present to help with some of the smaller tasks but will need support packing lightboxes into crates, and moving heavy plinths and bookshelves. There are two lots of ~5 stairs. Some of the pieces are relatively fragile and so we need to be careful when moving them to avoid damaging the paint. I do have moving blankets and dollies, but if you have your own dollies for the move, that would be much appreciated!
