My husband is in a nursing home in Ashfield. He is conversational but in a wheelchair. It's hard for me to push him the distances required. I'd like someone who has worked with the elderly to accompany me to help out. It will be a long day, maybe 8 hours, maybe shorter. I will pay for meals and so on. I need you to meet me at the Ashfield nursing home or at Prince of Wales Hospital whichever suits you better, help me get him in and out of the wheelchair, stay with us while we attend Emergency department, assist with lifting him onto the MRI bed and then off again and hang around to help getting him back in the taxi, taking him for a cup of tea or to the toilet. It's not awful, he's not gaga, he is just a normal size man but I am a small elderly woman and could use some help.
