Hello, I have a Rheem Metro Plus continuous gas hot water system and my house is based in Casey. The hot water cuts out mid-shower and turns cold and I notice the water flow sometimes drops at the same time. Hot water comes back only after I turn the shower off and back on, or turn it to full hot. I would like a diagnostic service first, how much do you charge for this? My suspicion is possibly minimum flow shutdown issues, so am thinking of doing these: – Cleaning the cold-water inlet filter – Checking minimum flow rate through the unit – Inspecting the tempering/thermostatic valve – Checking for scale or flow restriction in the system But, also happy to hear your suggestions after you have had a look.
