I’m looking for a plasterer/labourer to complete all remaining plastering in my garage so it is fully ready for painting. I started the project but was injured and couldn’t finish. Current status: • All gyprock sheets are installed • Left wall is complete (base coat + top coat applied, sanded, paint-ready) • Parts of the ceiling have base coat applied and need sanding and top coat • Remaining ceiling areas and the right wall require gaps filled, base coat, top coat, and sanding Scope of work (to be fully completed by you): • Fill all joints, gaps and screw holes • Sand and apply top coat to all areas where base coat has already been applied • Apply base coat and top coat to all unfinished areas • Sand all surfaces so the entire garage is smooth and ready for painting • Leave no plastering work incomplete Time estimate: Approximately 6–8 hours of labour, possibly more — happy to discuss. I need a professional to securely mount an IKEA Stockholm 2025 mirror (90x90cm) on a Gyprock/plasterboard wall. The mirror weighs approximately 13.5kg and has a built-in shelf, so it must be perfectly level and structurally sound. Scope of Work: Assessment: Identify if studs are available at the desired location. Installation: Securely hang the mirror using appropriate heavy-duty fixings. If no studs are available, you must use metal toggle bolts or hollow wall anchors (Molly bolts) rated for at least 20kg. Precision: Ensure the mirror is 100% level (the shelf makes any tilt very obvious). Safety: The installation must be flush and secure enough to handle the weight of the mirror plus items placed on its shelf. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience hanging heavy mirrors or artwork on hollow walls. Insurance: Must have active Public Liability Insurance. Need to repair damage done to part of a gyprock wall

Paint on drywall has been chipped by the "rental friendly" adhesive Would appreciate help to fix it. Only small chips. At 5-8 places around the apartment. It's a pretty quick job for someone with the right tools I do not have paint.

I would like an experienced carpenter/builder to rebuild the lower section of a gyprock wall (laundry) where moisture has caused the timber bottom plate and bottom of studs to rot & crumble away. In 2-5 years, I would like to rebuild this entire room (as understand the issue is bigger than this one wall!), but for now, would simply like the wall made structurally sound and rotten material replaced with moisture-resistant alternatives to buy me some time before I plan a bigger renovation. Will need to make the studs structurally sound (add something to support them at the bottom as no longer touching concrete base), add new bottom plate (something moisture-resistant please), and replace the missing gyprock & door framing. I've removed lots of the damaged materials so you can clearly see the issue!

They’ve filled the hole, but the finish is quite untidy and hasn’t been painted.
