There’s a gap between the existing walls with no surface to fix to, so framing (timber or metal studs) will be required before Gyprock installation. The job involves building a stud frame inside the gap, fixing Gyprock sheets (around 3.6 m²), then flushing, plastering, and blending into the surrounding wall and cornice for a smooth finish. We have three walls that need plastering after tiles have been removed along with a few patch ups. Two power points are being relocated and existing holes need filling. We are a bit restricted on days as flooring is being laid 11-14th August restricting access. New cupboards are being fitted in the cavity beside this area on 16th August but there will be one overhead installed that may hinder the plastering after it is installed. There still will be access behind it. Ideally job to be done 8th to 10th of August or 15th of August. Preferably not while the floor is getting laid. Otherwise will have to be after cupboards are installed. Price negotiable.
