Interior House Painting – Labour only Quote Required Looking for an experienced painter to complete the following work in a brand new double-storey house: AREAS TO BE PAINTED 5 bedrooms Dining room and 3 living areas Small pantry and laundry Half of the garage Alfresco – ceiling only (3 coats) Small porch – ceiling only (3 coats) Bathrooms excluded PREPARATION Fill all cracks with flexible gap filler. Patch holes using timber filler. Sand all surfaces before painting. Protect all windows and kitchen cabinets with plastic and masking tape. PAINTING REQUIREMENTS Ceilings: 2 coats of ceiling white. Walls: 2 coats of Wattyl Wash & Wear Low Sheen. Doors and architraves: 1 undercoat + 2 oil-based gloss finish coats. Handrail and stairs: 2 coats of stain and varnish. 3 bedrooms and a large loungeroom. Paint supplied as colours are picked. Two of the rooms can be left in just the primer at the bottom half as I’m panelling the walls. Ceilings will need to be done in white. House is very old and is currently being renovated. New floors are down so will need to be respectful of that. Also plantation shutters in all rooms. Gyprocking is being touched up and done tomorrow. There are stains to walls and kids drawings on the walls also. Not sure if it can just be painted over. To clarify - all 4 rooms will need primer and then painting in an off white. We do have an industrial spray machine here available if you know how to use it to make the job quicker and easier. Ceilings to be white. Do not quote the job then bump the price thousands
