Looking for an experienced gate automation / smart access installer to help complete and troubleshoot our front fencing and gate setup in Hawthorn East. We’ve recently had major fencing and gate works completed, however we now need someone skilled and practical to come in and properly finish the automation and smart access side of the project. Current setup includes: • Sliding driveway gate • Pedestrian gate • Existing electrical wiring already installed for the sliding gate motor • Smart lock / access hardware to be installed and configured • Wiring needing to be checked and tested • Gate automation setup still incomplete We are looking for someone who can: • Install and configure smart locks/access systems • Assess and troubleshoot the existing wiring • Connect and get the sliding gate motor operational • Help integrate keypad/fob/WiFi/GSM/intercom access if possible • Ensure gates are functioning safely and reliably Ideally seeking someone with genuine experience in: • Automatic gates • Sliding gate motors • Smart entry systems • Low-voltage/access control wiring • Gate automation troubleshooting This is not a simple fencing job — we need someone solutions-focused who understands the technical side of automated gates and smart access systems. Our front door handle is broken, need to get it fixed

2010 Mazda 6 door open/door lock issue. Will show random alerts that doors are open (when they are not) and wont always lock first time when using key fob, or even manually using the key. Isnt a key fob battery issue - also checked door lock fuse which also looks fine.

Hi, I need 2x door handle and locks replaced and installed on my bathroom. Then two other door locks may need to be tightened up or if not after inspection replaced and new one installed. I don't have new door locks but I'm happy to for someone to go to Bunnings to collect new ones and install. I don't like the pin lock (see pic) so maybe something similar? I will pay for the new locks if they can sourced and picked up. Keen to get this complete this weekend? Thanks

Need a handyman to come and fix a sliding door lock so that it sits flush, and install a cupboard latch.

I need a handyman or locksmith to replace an existing lever handle and deadbolt on a timber entrance door with a new Smart Keypad Lock (hardware provided). Scope of work includes: Removal: Remove the existing silver lever handle and the deadbolt above it. Installation: Install the new Smart Lock system (vertical keypad style). Strike Plate Fix: The current door bolt/latch is a bit "light" and doesn't align perfectly. You will likely need to reposition or slightly mortise the strike plate on the door frame so the new lock engages securely and smoothly. Testing: Ensure the door locks and unlocks without needing to pull or push the door forcefully. Materials: I have the new Smart Lock set and the manual (as shown in photos). You will need: Your own tools (drill, bits, wood chisel, and potentially longer security screws for the strike plate). Photos attached: Current door hardware (Red door). Existing strike plate and frame. New hardware in box.

There is a letter box which has a lock mechanism and it needs to be fixed. So lock works correctly.

Front door latch is very hard to open from inside. Seems to get stuck unless I manually press it in a bit with a screwdriver or my finger (if door is open). Fine to open from outside with key.

I’ve partially installed a Lockwood deadlock on my front door but need someone experienced with door locks/deadlatches to properly finish and align it. Current issue is the key will not release/remove properly once turned, which makes me think either: the tailpiece/cam alignment is slightly off, the lock body isn’t seated correctly, or the cylinder/turn assembly needs adjustment. Most of the install is already done. I just need someone who understands these locks to: inspect the fitment, align and adjust the mechanism, ensure smooth locking/unlocking, make sure the key removes correctly in locked/unlocked positions, and finish the install neatly. May require: minor adjustment/trimming, repositioning, checking preload/alignment on the cam assembly, and ensuring latch/deadbolt travel is smooth. Please only respond if you have experience fitting Lockwood/Whitco style deadlocks.

I would like someone to fix this one, so called locksmith and they ended up breaking the door now needing to install new one and fix this hole.

We have a troublesome door to an upstairs balcony that needs repair. The lock and now spindle are not turning at all. We tried removing the handle and still can’t turn the handle. Need a locksmith, carpenter or handyman to help me firstly open but ideally also diagnose and fix the door issues because this has happened a few times already before. See attached photos for the mechanism. to access the outside, if we can’t get the door open, you will need a ladder to get onto the balcony. It’s probably about 2.5 off the ground to the balcony, fairly straightforward to access with a ladder but we don’t have one here unfortunately. So please bring a ladder just in case. If it needs new hardware please let me know. I think it’s probably an alignment issue. We are selling the house, ideally today but any time before Wednesday is fine - Wednesday is the next inspection.

A lock on a back French door is very difficult to turn and lock.

I need the lock for my back security door fixed. The bolt trigger isn’t retracting enough to signal release the bolt to slide in. I’d also like a sensor deadbolt/code security lock to replace the existing mechanism on my side gate. Just the ones you can buy from Bunnings. Price excludes materials.
