I need a reliable Tasker to prepare a small patchy area and lay quality rolled instant turf as soon as possible (ideally within the next 7–10 days). Area details: Approximately 6–8 m² (roughly 3–4 m long × 2 m wide). It's a rectangular patch next to a shed, with an existing timber border on one side and concrete stepping stones running through it. See attached photos. Full scope of work: Remove all existing patchy grass, weeds, thatch, and debris. Level the ground and address any compaction or uneven spots. Prepare the soil properly (till/rotary hoe if needed, add and level suitable topsoil or turf underlay ~80–100 mm, then compact lightly). Supply and install quality rolled instant turf (Melbourne-suitable variety – e.g. Sir Walter Buffalo, Kikuyu, or a good cool-season mix – open to your recommendation for best winter performance). Cut and fit neatly around the existing stepping stones and timber border. Roll the turf for good soil contact and water thoroughly after laying. Notes: This is a rental property – please keep the finish neat and professional. Goal is to have the new lawn established before winter sets in. I can supply the turf rolls myself if you prefer (let me know your recommended type and quantity), or you can supply and I'll reimburse. Tasker to supply all tools and equipment needed.
