I’m looking for an experienced landscaper / paver to help me lay pavers in my backyard and create a gravel pathway. This is mainly labour + expertise – I’ll supply materials and hire any heavy machinery. Job details: • Backyard paving: • Approx. 45sqm to be fully paved • Needs proper base prep, levelling and neat finish • Gravel pathway: • Approx. 21sqm passage/pathway • Base prep, edging (if needed), and spreading/levelling gravel What I will provide: • All pavers, gravel, road base/sand and other materials • Hire of heavier equipment as needed (e.g. plate compactor, brick saw if required) • I’ll be on site and can assist with basic labour What you need to bring: • All relevant hand tools for paving and gravel work, including: • Shovels, rakes, trowels, rubber mallet • String lines, tape measure, edging tools • Angle grinder / brick saw with appropriate blade for cutting pavers • Any other tools you normally use to get a professional finish • Your own PPE (I have some basics like a level, but I’m relying on you to have proper trade tools for the job.) Plumbers have carried out some digging, leaving a pile of soil on the lawn and pavement. I need the following work completed: Lawn area: Level the excess soil so it matches the surrounding lawn height, and move any surplus soil to a pile at the front of the house. Pavement area: Remove soil to a depth of 100 mm below pavement level, and transfer the excess soil to the same pile at the front. Pavers: Collect the loose pavers scattered around the site, as well as those in the existing pile on the lawn, and stack them neatly in the same lawn area. Allow for a full day of manual, labour-intensive work, starting from 7 Am. This needs to be done on Wednesday, Nov 5th. I can provide wheel barrow and showel.
