Hi, I have an older Pioneer plasma tv and recently it stopped working properly. Let me run you through the fault as best I can and see if this is something you can repair. I was watching tv and the screen clicked and switched off. I turned it off at the power point and turned it back on. The RED power light came on, so I hit the standby button and the power light turned to blue. The screen came on for a couple of seconds and then went black again and the red power light is flashing several times. My research on the internet suggests there was a possible power issue and a fuse may have blown? On the power cable itself there appears to be a magnet or something?. I am located in Newport and hoping this is a job I could get done at my house as the TV is quite heavy for me to carry to the car. I hope you can help. The reason the price is so low is I understand it might need to be seen to evaluate the repair cost. Samsung Series 8 50 inch Plasma TV (Model PS50B850Y1F) picture not working. When the TV is turned on the sound works, but the picture doesn't come up (TV stays black). After multiple attempts in turning off and on, sometimes the TV starts working. Once the TV (picture) is on for a few hours and adequately warm, the TV turns on normally if turned off and turned on immediately. However, if the TV is turned off overnight, this problem happens the next morning. This problem has been there for a few months and has deteriorated progressively over the past few weeks taking many attempts in turning on.
