Sectional garage door has a galvanised reinforcement/stile that has broken away at the top near the roller/hinge assembly and is hanging outward slightly. Door is otherwise operational. Hello. I'm looking for a garage door expert to repair our garage door. The handle won't turn a full 90 degrees in order to release the horizontal bar enough to allow the door to open. The door is stuck closed. Further a small section of the front piece has come away from the frame and this requires repair with rivets. Thank you

Repaint two single garage doors and a small Colorbond fence/gate. • 2 garage doors – each approx. 2.4m W × 2.1m H, front side only • Colorbond fence/gate – approx. 3.1m W × 1.8m H, both sides I’d like them spray painted in white colour. including surface cleaning/preparation, light sanding where required, masking/protection of surrounding areas, primer where required, and 2 spray coats. Looking for quotes for someone to fix my Merlin garage door remote. The garage door works fine using the button on the motor, but the remote has stopped working. I’ve already replaced the remote battery and it still doesn’t work. It’s a Merlin SilentDrive Elite

- The track of the garage roller door (electric) is not aligned (the motor is fine). When you try to open the door it starts to bunch up on one side while the motor is running. In the meantime, we are pulling it down or rolling it up manually. - One kitchen sliding door is out of alignment, it’s stuck and is very hard to slide. - The last one is a kitchen cupboard door, with a faulty concealed hinged. The door is not closing properly. (we already tried adjusting the hinge, we suspect it’s broken)

Garage door will not close. Gets 1/3 of the way down, beeps then opens up again. It cannot be locked. We manually close it, place a pot plant to hold the door in the down position. Looking for someone to repair it.

I’ve recently had a panel lift/sectional garage door retrofitted to my garage in Carindale. Because the garage wasn’t originally set up for this type of door, there weren’t suitable fixing points in the ceiling where the installer needed to attach the overhead tracks/brackets. The garage door company is coming back to rectify the installation, but before they return I’d like suitable structural fixing points installed above the ceiling. There is good access to the roof/ceiling space via a manhole, with plenty of room to work. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/framer who can assess the existing roof/ceiling framing and install appropriate timber blocking/noggins or other suitable structural framing at the required locations, so the garage door installer has solid fixing points for their brackets. I can provide photos and indicate where the garage door brackets/fixing points need to be located. Location: Carindale, QLD Timing: Ideally completed before the garage door company returns. Please bring the appropriate timber, fixings and tools. When responding, please let me know if you have experience with roof/ceiling framing or preparing fixing points for garage doors.

Old 1980s one-piece tilt garage door with strong extension springs/jamb fittings. I’m removing the door myself for renovations. I only need someone experienced with old tilt garage doors to safely de-tension and remove both counterbalance springs and confirm there is no remaining spring load. Must be done ASAP (Thursday 3 September) 5 minute job Garage door motor not working and technician is coming tomorrow to fix it. I just want to close the garage door overnight. It will need to be done manually using the emergency release and then lowering the door on the tracks. Not a difficult job, just something I'm not comfortable doing myself. Double garage tilt door. Springs are intact. As long as you try to close it manually, you will still get paid even if there is an unforeseen issue that stops the door from closing.
