There is a roller blind that has possibly come off the tracks, and are pulling away from the wall. If we try to use the cord to put the blinds up or down, it creates too much pressure - which could possibly pull the blind fully off the wall. Task is located in an apartment on Flinders St, Surry Hills. Job must be attended at 10:30am/11am on Monday 18th May. AirTasker needs to bring all their own equipment and tools - whatever might be required for the job. Person must have some experience with blinds & send a video afterwards of it in 100% working order.

Unfortunately, I started this task myself but couldn’t finish it because I can’t do it when my baby is asleep or when she’s awake as I have to be with her. I already took measurements and managed to drill a hole (brick). Just a standard blind from Bunnings. Thanks

On or two outdoor blinds to be put up

I’m moving to London next week and need my blinds to be compliant in order to get Landlord Insurance on my apartment before my new tenant moves in. I imagine there will be two parts to this job - inspecting the blinds and then proposing a solution and costs so please quote based on this. Essentially there are three pulley system blinds on each side of the lounge - the two outer blinds are fine as the string hangs by the wall but the central ones have a non compliant pulley. I’m looking for someone to help block the light coming through the sides of my roller blind. As shown in the photo, light is leaking around the edges, especially along the sides, which makes the room too bright. I need a practical and clean solution (e.g., side channels, sealing strips, or similar) to fully cover the gaps and improve light blocking. A short-term tenant broke my bedroom roller blind--the metal chain snapped, so it needs to be fixed or replaced. Fix outdoor blind- emergency

No equipment/no instructions needed. I have a ladder but I am still too short with the ladder (5’3’) Someone with long arms and possibly a level to help install blinds. I have all equipment, drill, screws, brackets, it is a very easy install. Basically involves 6 screws, three brackets, and lock the blind into place. The only reason I can’t do it myself is because I am short. Should only take half an hour tops. Must not be afraid of heights. Bonus if you have a spirit level I can borrow. The blind is on my balcony so it would really help to have long arms. I have a ladder.
