On one side we need a picket fence (1.2m high) of 7.5m to connect with side fence. Nothing needed on other side as we have a brick wall. I have a gate that is attached to two sandstone walls. The gate is old and every time I try to shut it, the sandstone is about to crumble- see photos. It doesn't need to look pretty, just functional. I just want the gate to close easily enough and to lock. Adding wood pieces to secure it might be an option?
