I’m looking for a licensed gas fitter to inspect and repair an LPG gas leak at my home. The leak appears to occur where the pigtail/hose connects to the LPG gas bottle. I need the issue diagnosed and repaired safely. The task includes: * Inspect the LPG bottle connection and pigtail. * Diagnose the source of the leak. * Repair the leak if possible. * Replace the pigtail, fittings, seals, or regulator if required (parts can be quoted separately if needed). * Test the system after the repair to ensure there are no leaks and it is safe to use. I’ve attached photos of: * The LPG bottle valve. * The pigtail/hose connection. * The regulator and gas line. * The overall gas installation. I need a licensed gas fitter to inspect and repair a possible gas leak in the kitchen. The gas smell appears to be coming from under the kitchen benchtop, where the gas line comes from the wall and connects to the oven/cooktop. When I turn off the gas pipe/valve just after the wall, the gas smell stops. When I turn it back on, after a few minutes I can smell gas again. I have photos available to show the fitting/location. I’m looking for a quote to inspect and to tighten/seal the existing fitting. If the fitting, hose, valve, or connection needs to be replaced, we can discuss quote separately. House currently not occupied. Gas is currently turned off at the pipe/valve and will stay off until inspected. Please only respond if you are licensed and able to work on gas connections.
